What lens did yo use and it looks like you use two key lights. Do you have more shots of her??

I like her expression and your focus and DOF look spot on. I'm not sure that the disshevelled hair and lack of make-up work with the glittery evening wear that she has on. Perhaps something more simple, like a plain black or white t-shirt might have suited her look more.

I like it. Was it shot with a shorter lens? Maybe like a 35 or so? Seems very... close. Perspective wise I mean.

Lens: 28-105 3.4-4.5 at 105mm. 10D, iso 100, shot in a hotel pool area. One light is from my omnibounced 420ex, the other I belive is a skylight. To be fair to her I'm not sure she knew I was going to get as close as I did, for her makeup. I plan on smoothing out her skin but that look was killing me not posting.
More shots? Yep. I was shooting RAW and almost filled my 2gig card :O
Angle: She was sitting by the pool. I was on a plastic chair trying not to fall in/off.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you are asking. I have a 100mm that can shoot up your nose and still be far away. or do you mean it looks distorted becase using a shorter or wide angle lens?

I guess I was wrong. It was a 105 :(
Different focal lengths have different perspectives. That's why people buy lotsa lenses or zooms. If not, everyone will just buy a single prime and "zoom" with their feet, hehe. If you took a 105mm full frame shot of her head, and compared it to a 35mm full frame shot of her head, the perspective will be different. Yes, it's "distortion", I guess.. but it's just "different". It all depends on the effect.
The reason I was asking about the focal length was because her nose seems slightly protruding, that can happen if you shoot with a wide... correct?

yeah that is distortion. My friends 16-35L looks "regular" on a 1.6 but on his full frame has a fish eye effect. which is because it is so wide.
i also think it's only any thing lower then 50mmm. the longer is just telephoto. same look, just closer.
