Cheers Cat, I'm not giving up on astronomy, just taking a new direction. Hopefully picking up a Celestron C11 this weekend. (11" SCT, focal length 2800mm).

Well I was...looks like I've messed up and failed to secure the C11 I had my eye on. :(

At least my two Phenix scopes have buyers. Funny, I would have thought the WO ZS70 would be the first to go.

Phenix are big and cheap and will attract newbies and those wanting to test the waters.

Funnily enough it looks like both scopes have gone to people quite experienced with astro-stuff. Bloke who bought the little Phenix already has one or two, and he wanted both of mine.

Think I'll keep the WO 70mm now.

Not me I'm afraid. I live in Winchester (top of Stanmore lane), I also used to work in Winchester but no longer do.
