I just purchased a Canon Digital Camera G2 - apparently the operating manual is in Danish. Pls. let me know a site from where I can download the Manual in English.

Sorry its not the manual but it explains the various features and the last page gives a diagram of the LCD and its functions could be usefull

Actually, you were very close with that URL. If you go here http://www.powershot.com/powershot2/customer/manual.html you will see hardware and software manuals (PDFs) as well as other documentation for all the Powershot models, printers, etc.

Go to http://www.canonusa.com and select DOWNLOADS. The manuals for their cameras are yours for the printing.
