Hello all
I'm new to the forum and digital photography, just wanted to say hello. I've lurked for few days and want to say thanks to all the wonderful photographers that give freely of their time and knowledge without the rudeness found at other forums. I have found so much helpful information so far it's unreal!
Now for my main question....I recently moved to southern Oklahoma from California and I am at a loss as to where I can find interesting places to shoot. Would anyone know any place to shoot in the north Texas-southern Oklahoma area around I-35? Or maybe someplace on the net where I could go to find out?

Thanks a lot for everything and I promise I always do a search before asking any questions ;)

Get the macro, at that scale you are never without a place to shoot.

And, welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

I travel a lot for my work, and I find that wandering around with my eyes open usually finds the opportunity to shoot.

Not familiar with your new area, but people are usually plentiful and good subjects.

Take a few long drives, and hit the roads off the main drag. Never know what, or who, is down the next lane.

Good luck
