I thought that I'd try something different since the sky had an unlimited ceiling and the panoramic view in the area of the Oshawa, Ontario airport was a mess with unsuitable backgrounds. Three shots taken at +2,0,-2 at f16 . I merged it in PSP2 Ultimate with a few corrections.

This one doesn't do anything for me. The blown-out top-right corner makes me wonder why 1 exposure wouldn't work, especially since there doesn't appear to be and dark shadows to deal with.

That was the dillema....the sun was setting in the top right corner and short of using a gradient filter or photoshopping a different sky I didn't know what else to do. As you can see in the attached photo, there was quite a bit of shadow to deal with on the tank.

I like the wide angle on those treads.

Me too, I got number of similar shots since the sky wasn't co-operating with some nice clouds for the HDR. It's a shame, I really think that it would have been a better photo if I could have got more of the tank barrel over my head surrounded by clouds. Thanks for the input...always learning.
