WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: PART 178 -- Hats

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is "HATS". As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for!


Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between sunrise Monday and sunset the following Sunday. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snap shots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. It hold 6 cans.. nice and snug, and I never take fish fishing, they get squeamish in the boat! :lol:

I knew I'd get a couple for this weeks challenge :D

Today I went to watch some local football (soccer) and among the supporters were several friends, one in particular is always up for a laugh and invariably finds at least one hat to wear at games, each game=different hat!

He didn't disappoint today and found two in the kids wardrobe or toybox or wherever it was he found them.........enjoy :D

Something to do with the first photos most people take with a new camera/lens, ducks give a good idea of how sharp the focus is ie detail etc. I don't really understand it either :confused:

It actually dates back to the very early days of POTN and the meaning has been semi-lost and obscure. There are also AdminDuck reports on errors.. still obscure :) True it has become the way to christen a lens and let the POTN community know that you have a sharp copy. If you have the time, do a search.....
