Between a circular and a linear polarizing filter? What would be the pros and cons of each?

I can't give you the specifics because I don't remember it and would have to look it up myself but I do know that if you have an EOS dSLR, then what you want is the circular polarizing filter. If you use the linear one, you won't get either accurate AF or metering (I forget which one it was, maybe both :confused: )
