This was a good picture in color but I think I like a duotone version better. Seems to have added some depth to the tree's in the background. What do you think?

Very nice, but I would like to see the colored version, so I could compare.

I like it... I haven't messed with duotone, but I think I should start ;)

I havnt seen the color version, but i really like the dutone. It has great tonal values. There is a nice sureal feeling to it.

Forget about the color version. . . that is awesome.

Superb image. The duotone allows the line and texture to dominate.

Man that is really nice. And I have to add yet another item of interest to my list of things that need to be tried. Thanks!
Very nice work. The clean, crisp look appeals to me.

I really like this. Beautiful shot. Nice composition. The line of the fence works well to bring the eye to the barn

As requested here's the color version for comparision:

Another slightly different angle and duotone:

These were some of the first taken with my new Sigma 18-125 DC lens. They are cropped for a better composition(tried to take advantage of the long fence line).

Now that I've seen the colored one, I think I like it a little better. The last one is very nice, I like the angle and composition of this one. Good work all around. I've also got the sigma 18-125 lens and it never leaves my camera, don't ya just love it?

Thanks for the input. The last one is a merger of two raw files. One exposed for the sky to bring out the clouds and one for the landscape. I should remove the power lines on the left though. I really like the sigma too, it's on mine most of the time as well.

That shot is my favorite. I love barns, and I love duotones. You did a great job with this one.

The duotones are great, better than the colour version. Really nice subject.

Love the duotones much better, but what's the deal with the roof. It just doesn't look right. It looks slightly better in the color original. You must have done something with contrast or USM or something?? Maybe it's just me, but It looks unnatural and there's the same "cast" on the rest of the pic, jut not as noticeable.
