An early start, harsh sunlight but great to see these monsters running again. The Astons 1-2 was a bonus

Great shots! I had the chance to see those Astons in action at the 12 Hours of Sebring this year. Too bad Pro Drive doesn't run the full season here in the U.S. Good for you Europeans, though ;) ALMS needs more cars during the outside-of-Sebring races. heh
I also got their autographs ;)
I have some photos as well, but that was as I was still learning the camera and mostly shooting in the automatic modes. I've got panning down pretty well, now time to learn to use the camera ;) Next stop: Mid Ohio next Sunday. No Astons, unfortunately. But should be fun still. There will be an LMP2 class prototype with a 3 rotor Mazda Renesis engine in it. That will be a main attraction for me :D (Courage C65 chassis I believe).

Thanks guys:)
Chris, I was using my Sigma 100-300mm F4 EX, sometimes with the 1.4TC, plus a few guest appearences from Cadwell's Sigma 500mm prime:cool:

Great photos and the ones in your gallery are great also, particularly like the 2 Astons by themselves where they are just about touching
Cheers

Thanks Ben, Andy and Ian.
Having just watched the highlights from the race it seems the #29 Aston tapped the lead car a couple of times before he got through.
