she looks sweet she is all ears! You might want to expose for the white and then dial back the face in Post processing. I have a black and white canaan dog( also named Sadie) and she is difficult to photograph for the same reason)

Yes I do see what your saying.
I loose a lot of detail and contrast with the white fur.
Will give your suggestion a try.
