View Full Version : Older 200mm prime & 1.4tc?

Does anyone know if the older version of the 200mm prime (the one with the built in hood) works with the 1.4tc? Long story short I ordered the newer version and received the older version, I won't care so much if the tc will work with this lens.

As I remember, the 200/2.8 MK1 can use 1.4TC and 2.0TC.

However, the built-in hood for the older version is too short IMHO. Why don't you ask for exchange for the newer version? Usually, the used price for 200/2.8 MKI is a bit lower than the 200/2.8MKII, given a similar condition.
