Critiqe plz-- flowers

I hiking sunday and took a few pictures of flowers. It was an overcast day so I tried to make the best of them. I'm a little new at this so go easy on me:)

I've seen so many flower pics they have to offer something different to grab my attention. I don't take photos of whole, normal flowers any more, unless I have a good reason, sometimes I take photos of parts of them (http://www.mrwild.co.nz/Featured/Nature/index.html) though. They're perfectly good photos, but I think you need a different viewpoint to get the "wow" factor. I'll disagree with Tim. I love your pics. Well done. Now if there were a bee or bird that would enhance it, but I think these have very good presence and quality.

I think if you're taking flower pics these work. If you're going for abstract the one's Tim linked to work.

Nice shots. I really like the first. Nice DOF on both shots. When I saw the Trilliums, I had to see if you were from Ontario... from Kitchener. Finally, another Kitcheneronian (is that a word?) Welcome to the forum js.

Nooooo, you can't disagree with me, it's not allowed!!! :p ;) Like I said just my opinion, everyone has different taste, the world would be very boring otherwise! :)
