This mourning dove (Zenaida macroura) startled when I
nearly stepped on it on my way to the car.
It flew up into a dogwood tree and stared at me.
Sort of a spontaneous photo op.

Nice Shot. Seems a bit washed out in the feather details, but still a very nice shot.
