That is a really beautiful photo! For some reason, though, the sun overwhelms me. Maybe it's just me, and the forum members will let me know, for sure...

I agree with LadyHawk above...

the shot is nice, but the sun is a bit too much...an option would be to shoot at 100 ISO and go for a higher F number (i.e. smaller aperture), this would permit to have a better defined sun circle and maybe some sunrays...the clouds and airplane would also get darker, giving a more dramatic effect...

this is how I would have done the photo, personal taste, I like it as it is,

Yes, I completely agree :)

To be honest, I took this shot by accident. I was taking photos of the takeoff roll and climbout. I went to look through my photos, and I had that :lol:. Next time when I try to do a shilloutte I will use the correct settings.
