His left foot in the first photo kind of freaks me out. Other than that, Great shots!!

Toogy, you did really well on all of them. I think your compositions are great. My favorite, below, looked a little soft on my monitor. I hope you don't mind this comparison... you might want it softer because they are portraits, after all. Let me know if you would like me to delete this.

Very Very Very well done...
Where did you get the idea for the various poses?

Thanks guys!
I tried to basically get them to do their own thing with some slight suggestions on some posings. I still need to work on that more :)
I intentionally tried to soften the images somewhat due to his facial complexion. I hope I didn't go overboard and made them look fake. However it seems alot of brides want that look these days.

Oooh. Very nice. Can you tell us what you did to 'soften' them. Was is a low gaussian blur? Did you find it difficult to work in the blazing sun?

I actually used Neat Image Noise reduction software to soften them up!!!
It was difficult in the sun, I thought around 7pm would be perfect, but the sun was still VERY bright, should have waited abit longer.
I had to use fill flash and probably could have used a reflector in some of the shots. BTW I used the Lightsphere II for all the fill flash shots and I think it did a pretty decent job, except for looking ridiculous!

How old are they? 15?
Beautiful couple, beautiful pictures. :D
I love the colors and bw are nice. Not so thrilled about the sepia. IMO too much white/bright light for sepia. For pic No. 4-careful with the background. The greenery is beautiful but careful with the dried up bushes and ground.
Overall, compositions is excellent. Did you coach them in the poses?
Can't wait to see the wedding pics. :D

They are actually 26 (him) & 23 (her).
I tried to coach them, I need to work on the small details more though. I actually find it MUCH easier to pose complete strangers than people I know.

wow, very nice. Has she seen them? The reason I ask is number four makes her look heavier than she does in the others. Also, in the last one, the reflection on her lip makes it look like she has something on it. I think you could take care of that easily in PS. You really did do a very nice job.

I think you did very well ... posing people is hard ... if you're going to do this type of thing very often you might want to get a book of poses, but as I said, I think you did wonderfully well.

Very nice, the first and last are my favorites as the poses look the most relaxed. Lovely colors in the first.

Very nice job. And in the bright sun that's hard to do... I didn't notice the foot in number one until it was pointed out and now it does look strange (his right foot btw). The rest hit me as very nicely done. Now if you could get him to look like he's happy about all this....
Neat Image is a nice tool that I find very useful too. And you can't beat the price. And I don't think you over did it at all. Looks quite good actually.

Woah, the images got messed up there for a second, they were all wrong, I think I have fixed them back to what they originally were. I think when I was editing their webpage I must have renamed some of the files.
This is the website gallery I put together for them

I like the last post the most. She looked like she was very comfortable throughout the whole shoot. Unfortunately it looks like he was really fighting the smile - it's a guy thing I think - but you did a great job giving them something to choose from.
