This cool-looking plane was parked at the local airstrip this morning. Never shot planes before--and these are my very first with a brand new PowerShot SD990 IS. Did a little bit of post in Photoshop. Let me know what you think.

Good ones. I like the background in the last one best.

Nice little walkaround series.

A Shorts 360 I believe?
Apparently the C-23B is built by Shorts and is a variant of the Shorts 360.

Nice ones, maybe clone out the orange jack stands? Agreed the background on the last one is very nice.

This is actually down in Seward. The background clutter is frustrating. I agree that the orange jack-stands are distracting. Thanks for the comments--with all of the unique aviation up here, I think I've discovered a new subject to focus on!

Ahh, I knew the mountain looked familiar, I just picked the wrong one LOL. They also have C-23s at Ft Rich but on further review I see this is from the Washington NG, not Alaska NG.

I agree. I'd just clone out the antennas and poles and hang it!

I thought it looked like Alaska. Elevation + surrounding buildings, does not resemble, anything in the Continental US.

Jay,
That is a rather unique perspective, to think of what the Sherpa resembles :)
I got a good chuckle. Can't laugh. Kids are asleep.
