Does anyone here use any programs to get a log file of their websites? I'm talking about the kind of programs that tell you how much traffic you have how long each visitor stays and what they look at on your site. Can anyone recommend a program. A free program would be great!

How many entries does Google Analytics give you before overwriting old info?
I'm using Stat Counter and I get 10,000 unique hits/page loads logged before it will start overwriting the oldest one with the newest hit.

Google Analytics data retention is guaranteed for 25 months.
Although most report that their data is/has been kept well over 3.5 years with no loss...
You can also have it write to another 3rd party server, if you want to keep data indefinitely. Also, Analytics is basically Urchin, which is a paid option with more options.
Hope that helps.
