Pinks All Out in Seattle

We had the Speed Channel's Pinks All Out come to Seattle's Pacific Raceway this past weekend. There were some very fast and beautiful cars there. My friend, Jon, works for a race team, Total Performance Racing, here in Tacoma. Their race truck, sponsored by Indoor Gardening, ran a Pinks record fastest 6.61et at 221mph. This thing is so bad!

they dont race for pinks anymore. its now pinks all out. race for money. each race the racers wager an amount.

i hear the winners are having a hard time getting the tool boxes and such they are suppose to win as well. lol

i like when they run the re-runs of the show when they did run for pinks.
the way the show played out, it was kind of like watching Texas Hold-Em poker on a dragstrip...
Some were holding back a little, some were hanging it all the way out.
Just like the old-school street drags that used to happen back behind Bell Helicopter in the "bottoms" in the 70s/80s... (dont know if they still race there or not, been 20yrs since I lived there).
