Here are a few images of my 'new' car. I think I'm getting better but C&C is always appreciated. Enjoy.

Looks like you are getting there. In #1 and #7 the car looks under-exposed. Since this is the point of interest, that is definitely a problem. On the rest of the shots there seems to be a lot of shadow on the car. Try using fill-flash or maybe shooting in the evening or the morning when the lighting is more even and coming from the side rather than straight down. Reflectors are also an option to bring the light where you want it. I really like #2 and #6. #6 is the best of the bunch IMHO. Keep it up, and great car btw. I'm also a Mustang owner (2003 GT)

I like the light on #7 best. In color managed FF3, it could use a bit more exposure & contrast. The background should work well with it as it is. Adjustment Layers are one answer:

I need to look into the layers and masks some more. I do often stick with the Adjustment/Auto Layers as a start but I know there is a lot more capability that I am not using. #7 was shot quite late into the evening with only natural light so I had to make do with what had. Same with the under exposed #1 - natural light in the shadows under the tree. Flashes and reflectors are not in my near future so I need to shoot with natural light as best I can and hope I can make up for it in PP.

so I had to make do with what had. What you had is exactly the light I like to use. The car isn't sharp & I see what you were trying to do with the framing. I would have cropped tighter, & maybe even into the building except that it's OCC.

Flashes and reflectors are not in my near future Generally, I don't use them except to add an effect to the lighting that is already there. See post #13 in this, & the other links in the thread.

And, be aware that what you're seeing here is probably not what some of the rest of us are seeing? Take a look at: Firefox (3.0.4) + add ons (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=602787)
