The Bubble and a cluster of stars

Only managed to get 1 hours worth of data last night in between all the clouds, but still looks very nice I think.

Going to add much more data to this over the next few nights, weather permitting, but here is a sneak preview.

Very nice! I tried this last year. Quite a tricky target. (Bet you're loving these dark nights we've been having lately! :) )

Yeah, nice being able to be setup aligned and ready to image by 9:15pm now. Proper dark now by about 11pm giving a good few hours of imaging before getting some sleep :)


It is a hard target and there is a lot of red Ha nebula stuff in there. I tonned it down a bit to give a nicer image.

Really want to added at least 3 more hours to this tonight if the skies let me.

Also great these few days with near zero moon :)

Weather looks reasonable tonight for at least another 3 hours worth of data to be added. Might take some wide field shots of this region with an unmodified DSLR that is piggybacked as well.
