350D Battery Charging Q

Hi All,

Probably a silly question but in order to fully charge my battery for my 350D do I need to discharge it until it is empty or can I just top it up as required?

Supposedly, you can just top it off. However, I typically don't recharge mine until it's pretty close to empty. The only way I'll just top it off is if I know I'm going to be shooting several hundred pics the next day.

You can just top it off - lithium ion batteries do not have the "memory effect" of other types of batteries and you can feel confident simply topping them off whenever you feel like you need to. I let mine hit the charger for a half an hour all the time prior to going shooting just to ensure that I have enough juice to finish what I start.
