That is an incredible amount of kit for the amount that is being asked. I hope your mum will not expect to have to pay just £200. I think the amount it would cost to ship to you would be quite significant too, so think you have a good chance of being sniped at the last minute (literally). Try and decide how much you be willing to pay and don't go over it.
Sorry if you know all this, but better to let you know now if you don't. I would expect it to go for nearer £500 or more. But you may get lucky. Tell your mum it's my birthday soon if you don't get it – and I like glass!

Daniel, what I was getting at was that it was an even bigger bargain, as it included shipping. Sadly you can be winning this for peanuts until literally the last minute and it will jump to many times that amount. It's known as sniping as veteran Ebayers do not get into bidding wars, but jump in at the final minute so nobody has time to up their bid. It's very frustrating and leads many to think they might get something very cheap. As I say, you may be lucky. I do hope so but brace yourself if you don't get it.
The folks here are all your friends, so don't worry! You students have massive loans don't you – don't give me that poor!
Your mum has until February if she changes her mind by the way.

If that doesn't go for at least double that price, I'd be surprised.

Good luck to you!
I normally submit my bid 15 seconds before the deadline (either in person or through www.vrane.com).
Everything else is dangerous ... if somebody outbids you and you have still a little time to react, you easily go over the amount you have defined as 'maximum' in advance.
Just one shot - if it works, then it's great.
If it doesn't work, a similar offer will come up tomorrow or next week. There are very few unique items.
A word of caution on www.vrane.com ... it has let me down twice (did not bid in time so I lost out).
One was no problem, I just had to pay 50 $ more in the next auction of a similar item. Annoying, but not fatal.
The other was a manual focus Enna (German) 400/4.5  M42 lens that went for $65 (I was willing to bid $ 120 for it, but the bid came too late). Go figure  Needless to say, since that event I bid myself if I really want to have something.
Best regards,
Andy

Sorry, but I don't have the faintest idea
I'm still looking for a way to convince my wife why I really need to upgrade my old manual flash to a 420EX to use with my 20D...
