Wedding Album Printers

Hey guys!

Just wondering what you use for your wedding albums. I've used Blurb before, and it didn't come out bad, but they are very restrictive. From what I can see you can't have an image take up an entire two pages, which is something really important to me right now. I used them because they were cheap and the Bride & Groom knew what they would be getting and were fine with it.

I want to step it up a notch (or two, or three), but pricing is a hard thing right now. I am looking at Pictage right now but they are $19/month (which isn't bad if you are booking 2-3 weddings a month). I am new to this, but a good album will probably get me more bookings, and happier clients.

So what say you POTN?

Your options are endless. I use a pro lab that offers a variety of bound book albums and the quality is outstanding but so is their price. It depends on your clientele and how much they are willing to spend. I've sold 1200.00 albums all the way down to the more economical versions.

Most labs will be able to coordinate this for you, if they don't print themselves. I don't have any experience with Pictage. Do you have a normal custom lab that you use and do they have that offering. A quick Google for US labs gives endless results and a quick peek at a few have all of these offerings from cheap to expensive.

I haven't ordered one yet, but I'm looking at Mpix. They have very affordable leather bound albums.
