Hey all, I've just uploaded some new shots I've taken (yesterday and tonight) at two local basketball games.
I am heading off to bed (been processing images for 4 hours, it's now 3:16AM) but you can view reasonable size images through my Flickr.
I will be uploading more tomorrow, so until then, check them out :)
Also, one thing I'm struggling with under fluorescent lights is White Balance. Even in manual kelvin, as the stadium lights flicker, different temperature and intensity of light is emitted. So as a result I've been manually adjusting white balance and that's not an issue but I just want to clarify (with someone elses eyes) that the whitebalance looks reasonably consistent shot to shot. The level of adjustment needed from my baseline temperature varies shot to shot so I'm very much going by eye.
All shots are taken at High to Ultra High ISO's (3200 was the lowest, some 6400 and 12800 shots) all noise reduced in Noiseware, highly reccomend it.
Shot in Manual exposure mode, Full RAW, RAW > JPEG done in DPP, crops and white balance done in Lightroom and noise reduction done in Noiseware Community.
Heres an embed of one just so this doesnt look like a slab of info:

Note: these were my FIRST EVER GAMES shooting basketball, so dont expect anything fantastic. I was learning very much on the fly.
C&C Welcome as always
Thanks,
Shaun
