My first Chicago Air & Water Show. What an experience!

Saturday: Stay at my tiny shrinking spot with thousands air show spectators on North Avenue Beach. Try to keep my camera and lens away from sand all day long.

Sunday:Weather is bad. But It was such fun experience to watch air show from 1000ft high Hancock Observatory!

Bad news My 1DMIII begin to show Err 30 again. Just hoping it can hold on for next few airshows before I send it back to Canon Irvine.

First one is "Wall Worthy"

Looks like one of the Golden Knights done "blow'd up!"

Your "overhead" angle of the TBirds Diamond on your site is something you'd rarely see unless you were in a tanker.

Nice Work.

Indeed! I don't know what I feel more, inspiration or envy!

What generated the smoke in #1? Did they launch fireworks? Or was the on Golden Nights boots?

Those pics are very good. #1 is a wall worthy conversation starter. #2 is great as well. I also love this vantage point for that T- Birds shot. It must have been a blast to be at a birds-eye-view.
