Something a bit different...
I built a 20" Schwinn Stingray style lowrider bike back in 1996 with neon lights, turn signals, a complete car audio system...it weighed 108 pounds. I rode the tires off of it and even got an excessive noise ticket playing "Born to be Wild" in downtown Plymouth, MI...at 2am :D
After getting this Dyno Roadster, I decided to strip that old lowrider and reuse a few parts since it was more appropriately sized for a 6'2" person. The "parking lights", headlight and two 15" purple neon tubes moved on.
I just got into this Pandora net radio today and they played the Beastie Boys - Professor Booty.
"My chrome is shining just like an icicle
I ride around town on my low-rider bicycle."
Had to get the bike out...
Shooting location - my front lawn. Ambient light. I need to find a nice area with fresh white concrete to really get the neon glowing. I miss the 100 watts of Kenwood/Rockford Fosgate sound!
Power comes from gel cells...used two 6v batteries in series tonight. Everything is "chassis" grounded to reduce wiring.
