at weddings...
I need a light, portable but kind of solid tripod to have in my car when I feel the need...
Will be using a 488RC2 ball head.

The equipment is should support is mainly my 5d and my 100 2.8 MACRO...

Thanks

190xprob is probably the best value for a lightweight and pretty solid tripod. Or maybe another 190 series, without the horizontal column... which would save you a little money. The 055xprob is more soild and taller, but heavier. If you've got a lot of cash to throw at it you can get the CF models to save a little weight.

i wouldn't use a tripod, especially at a wedding. you are usually moving around and on your toes rather than being in a fixed location. a monopod would suit you much better.
