I thought that with all the interest in filter sets, and the confusion that trying to buy one brings, it might be good to try to gather all that information under one thread. Perhaps a sticky would be great. I am hopeful that this will be a great resource for those contemplating a GND filter set.
Here is a great review of the Lee System (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=315987).
Here is my review of the Hitech System (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=741255).
Here is a great thread on photos taken with the various systems (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=224448).
I cannot find anything on the Cokin or Singh Ray filters or systems, so if you have anything please post up.

I use the Lee system and the review you referenced is very incomplete. It does not discuss, for example, the use of WA adapters vs the standard adapters, using the various available hoods, using the Lee Proglass ND filter vs. the resin ND, and attaching and using a 105mm CPL in conjunction with the GND filters. A search will turn up information on these topics as well as other relevant information.

So post away. That is why this is needed to get this information all together.

I have made several recent posts on this topic, as have others. A search will pull up the relevant threads.

I have two Cokin Grad NDs (1 Stop and 3 Stop P-Series) but if I were to start over, I'd go with something else.
They are not color neutral and are prone to scratching easily. I'm considering replacing them both with Lee.

I put this thread together a few weeks ago. It details the Cokin P system and shows some Singh-Ray filters.

You might also consider Hitech filters, which are less expensive than Lee or Singh-Ray. The primary differences between Hitech and Lee, S-R are that the Hitech filters are 4x5" and 1.5mm thick vs 4x6" and 2mm thick for the Lee, S-R. Optically, they are very close.

Thanks for that...
