I'm arranging a family photo day for my family for next Sunday, and am hoping people can suggest some good places. My house doesn't really have an obvious shooting spot for nice formal shots, so I'm looking to drive somewhere in the GTA.

Kinda moot now that the date is long gone, but hopefully this'll give you ideas for next time?
Not too clear on what kind of pics you're going for, and so some varied places off the top of my head are (I live downtown, and so you'll see a bias):
Distillery district - I always liked how the oldish buildings there give a nice feel in photos, and depending on what's going on, it's usually not too crowded
Ashbridges Bay park (Lakeshore/Coxwell)
Sunnyside park and the surrounding area
St. Lawrence Market area - Gets pretty busy, but some neat ideas here
Financial district, around York/King - There's a bunch of lifestyle bronze cows (bulls?) sitting on a patch of grass that one can be creative with
Riverdale Farm and area (North of Broadview/Gerrard)
Sunnybrooke park - You'll have to google it for how to get in. Nice big hidden park area near Leslie and Lawrence, I think.
That's all I can muster.:p
