Hey i've recently found an interest in wildlife photography.
What camera and lens' would you reccomend and why?
I was thinking the Dx3 but I have heard some bad comments
about it.
Anyways leave a comment and explain why you would chose this camera.
Cheers.

Assuming the Nikon D3X? Are you interested in looking into Canon EOS systems instead?

Wildlife? If it were me personally, I'd shoot with a 1D3 and 40D combo. A D3X of 1Ds are not usually the first choices among wildlife photographers.

Yes of course im open to all ideas. Would the Canon Eos be a better suited camera for Landscape/Wildlife photos?

I had a Nikon D-SLR a couple of years ago, and am looking to get a new one as I am going to Indonesia for 6 monthes in january next year. I have been doing some amatuer photo's on a Panasonic Lumic DMC-FX55. :) Its a pretty nifty little camera for the price tag.:p

I'd just get a 50D, some nice lenses and call it a day. If you wanna shoot wildlife, putting more money into your lenses rather than the body is what's gonna help you the most. You can get a pretty sweet wildlife lens for the price of a D3x. Your dollar will go further on telephoto lenses with Canon though, but both camps are quite capable.

Or maybe A Nikon d3x and a canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens just for picture quality.

This is a thoroughly amusing thread :D
I actually started to write a detailed and serious response, but figured it was just not going to do any good whatsoever.

Ok stupid question, but if i added a canon adaptor it might then be possible.

Can't be done. When I read this thread I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It's either someone trolling, or someone with way more money than camera sense. If by chance it is a legitimate thread I mean no offense to the OP but I strongly urge him to learn a little bit about photography before spending thousands of dollars on equipment that he obviously knows nothing about.

The DX3 offers many of the standard features most of us look for, but the biggest advantages are claimed to be in what hasn't been offered up until new models recently.
