i have been seeing this little guy coming around for the last week.i have never seen this kind in my neighborhood before.

Where is this neighborhood? Surprisingly birds can be regional and a variety seen on the East Coast totally unknown on the West Coast.

Nice eye shot in #1. That appears to be a rose-breasted grosbeak - Pheucticus ludovicianus.
