I've got a D300 with a Nikon 18-200VR and 50mm F1.8.

I'm thinking that it is worth selling the 18-200 and investing in a better combination..

I am thinking:

Sigma 10-20 F4.5-5.6
Sigma 70-200 F2.8
Sigma 18-50 F2.8-4.5

The 10-20 is for rig shots mainly.
The 70-200 is both for panning, stationary and motorsport photography (would get a 2x convertor aswell in due time)
The 18-50 is a general lens which would get used the most probably.

Are there any better options for similar pricing?

my photography style can be seen on my website: www.gfwilliams.net

Thank you :)

One option: save your money and use what you already have. By all indications, the 18-200mm VR is a very good lens. (http://bythom.com/18200lens.htm)

You have some nice images in your gallery. If you just want the other lenses, then get them. Personally, unless someone is paying you to shoot, I think you're doing great without them.

Problem sorted :D

I went and bought the 10-20 and 70-200 and kept the 18-200!

The 70-200 is an amazing lens :D
Rig is on it's way to properly test the 10-20 :D
