Hey Guys,

After a lot of work, I present my humble gallery for your inspection.

My website is called Traces of Texas

http://www.tracesoftexas.com/

The direct link to my main gallery is here:

http://www.tracesoftexas.com/Galleries/All%20My%20Images%20of%20Texas%20Collected%20in%20 One%20Gallery/index.html

I know that I have a lot of cleanup to do and a lot of content to add to the site but I wonder if you like the color scheme/theme, the Intro Flash (I am undecided), nagivation etc...

Thanks in advance for taking the time to look. I hope it all makes sense to you.

Lose the intro. It's a wasted "click". Nice to see your 'homepage' validates. :D I like your home page as well as the colors.

If you are interested in SEO, then I suggest adding a short "bio" on your home page telling you where you are and what you do. Same thing with your metadata tags. Your title should represent where you are located and what you do. Who cares about 'Traces of Texas. A photographhic journey through the vanishing western landscape.' That isn't going to be helpful to search engines...and you mis-spelled "photographic" on your title element. ;)

Your description tag is mis-spelled (says <meta name="desc ription" ) and also doesn't really tell the view (and Google) anything. Of course if you're not interested in SEO, then disregard this!

Looks like you need a space after © on your home page too. ;)

Great stuff, Hikin Mike. If you see anything else, please let me know. I will be taking you up on everything you've written.

I am definitely interested in SEO. I just got a book delivered regarding it.

Still lots to learn!

Great shots and creativity! I have been practicing my wildlife photography here along the Texas Gulf coast. Your "Critters" section is inspirational and at the same time makes me realize how much I need to learn.

SEO is an art for sure!

Your 'Gallery' page thumbnail rows aren't straight. Looks like your still using tables for your gallery. Why not implement CSS? Much easier IMO. ;)

1: Oh mods! Papyrus!

*breathe, convulse, breathe*

OK. Don't, just don't use it. http://xkcd.com/590/

2: An intro page. The sooner you get rid of it, the sooner I will release the hostages I've just taken.
3: The buttons (not necessarily the text) of blog, galleries etc. are too small.
4: Don't show traces of "page under construction"

They're pretty big on my monitor, but I'm viewing at 1024 x 768. I wonder if they might appear small to you because you are viewing at a higher resolution?

Hm, yes, they are bigger now (duh), but they could be a lot wider (clickable areas that is).
