Sorry, there's probably a very simple answer but I need to ask ...

I bought a second-hand battery grap for my 400D. How do I get the existing battery compartment cover off? Do I need to unfasten the little grub screw? I figure that was the logical thing to do, but I thought I would ask before I start messing with my camera!

Slide the grub screw to either the left or right then the cover will come off :)

Don't unfasten the screw, It slides back and forth, simply push it to one side and the battery cover should pop right out!

Well that was easy - but I'm glad I asked before I started messing about undoing screws and stuff! :)

Tell you what though - I didn't realise what a difference it would make to the size!

Thanks again!
