What would you choose? I've got a Canon 40D. I've shot with a 10-22 at events before, and it's nice but you can't really get good candid shots with it of models/people.

What would you guys choose?

No magic bullet here, unless you're interested in a 18-200mm superzoom for convenience's sake. There are a lot of potentially useful focal lengths at one of those events.

i think a 24-70mm f/2.8 L would be your best bet.

HIN makes for some interesting challenges. Low Light, Cars parked tight, Lots of movement and in most cases bad backgrounds.

your 28-135 IS may be your best bet unless renting. 2 camera would be best setup.

Ended up renting a 70-200 f/2.8. Lots of lens for me to use. I just did a short review of the lens along w/ my rental experience on my blog.
