I like the pose - just think the lighting is ever so minutly too hot on the center of her face. but that is a nit...you should be proud of it.

The blackening under her top lip is distracting....what HAS she been eating? Maybe a softening (Gaussian blur via layers in PS) would add to this lovely shot.

Nice work, kind of a regal pose if that makes sense.

I think a bit too much contrast. I'm not nearly an expert though, I just know what I like. :)

I like it ... she's pretty, and it's a very nice pose.
My only gripe is that the photo is too sharp ... her skin in very clean, but not absolutely. So it shows a bit, especially around the eyes. You might soften that a bit.
Best regards,
Andy

NIce shot. I did not notice the black below the lip, but once IainB pointed it out it is impossible not to see. Other than that, great picture. I do lik ethe structure of the skin, especially in the areas where th elight grazes over. No skin is smooth, and this structure and unevenness give it character, and she still looks gorgeous!
I wonder what focal length this is taken at.

I too think it's too sharp, I think it would be perfect if it were softer. Also what is that line below her chin or is it my monitor. Looks like you added her face into the pic. But I defintely like the lighting and pose.

IMHO, and I am not a professional, these are my comments.
First, a very lovely model. I also really like the pose and the tilt of her head. A couple of the things that I think could make it a stronger photo are not so bright lighting on the face (this may have been something you were trying to achieve, I just don't like it quite so hot). I also think some could be cropped off the bottom, maybe just at the bottom of her collar.
Other than my picky little points I think this is a very nice portrait.

Nice shot.
Tho the flash is a little harsh. Its washing out the right cheek and btwn the eyes. Thers is also a line on the lower part of her chin. It also seems to be a litle to much USM. A little Gaussien would be nice with the eyes and lips masked.

The healing brush would do wonders above her eye brows, cheek, and near the chin. Also I would try to darken in the bottom part of the photo to match the top plus you will see less shirt and more face. Lastly just a little thing, but some of her skin is showing on her shoulder. Clone tool will take care of that.
Great photo over all and I love the pose. This is just my suggestions.

Interesting shot. I also think it might look more glamorous with a little overall softening. I don't like to see the pores on someone's face in a photo. I save the USM for things like product shots. A little PS magic and this shot could be very very nice.

Great pic. Just a small thing I don't like is the splash of light on the ear lobe. I would have (if it were possible to retake), angle the light so it either included the ear, or had the complete ear in the shadow. A small change in the angle of the light might also lessen the effects of the some of the pimples people are talking.

Great model....
My opinion is like some others, a bit too harsh with the light and the shadow on the shoulder is also distracting, just try moving the light a little. Also a little too sharp for my taste.
I do like the angle and composition though, just like a magazine shot.

Welcome to the forums. Like th e shot as well, would like to see some more diffuse lighting and some fill for the shadow areas.

I like the pose and lighting, though I find it a bit OE, and DOF a bit shallow

IMO the direct lighting on her face makes her face look very square and flat.
I think side dramatic lighting would work better for her. It would flatter her face more by making it look narrower.
Great model.

Am I the only one who is reminded of pictures of actresses from the '30s & '40s? I think the lighting would make this a perfect candidate for black and white. :) Nice job.
