Female Albino Wood Duck - something you don't see everyday

From a local park which seems to be a fairly safe place for her. Usually albinos don't last long because they stick out like a sore thumb for the predators.

That is cool. From a distance It looks like some farm duck. If I ever see a white duck I will have to look more closely to see what it is. Nice shot.

Sweet photos. Wood ducks are really good looking birds, I like the albino one.

My guess would be a little closer to home. Hmmmm, I'm gonna have to make a visit to the lake to see if I can find her.

Oh Yeah, I forgot to say thanks for sharing LP! I've only seen a few albino ducks in the wild, never a woodie though.

Nice shots LazyPhotographer.

I'm not sure that its a true albino. The eyes and feet don't look pink on my screen, so it could be leucistic.
