I currently have an older Kenko LD-1.83T and LD-.75W which I purchased in Japan several years ago. I had used these before with an old Toshiba 3.2 MP camera.

I now have a G10 and ordered all of the Lensmate adapters which I have not received yet. I plan to try out these old lenses with the G10. Does anybody know how well these lenses will work on the G10? Focusing or chromatic aberation problems? Is there a big noticeable difference between the new high resolution conversion lenses and the older standard conversion lenses?

The Kenko KRT-20 has a 58mm mounting and is 2X compared to the Raynox with a 52mm mounting and 1.54X. With the Lensmate adapter and the Kenko it would not be necessary to use a step ring adapter.

Anybody have any thoughts or opinions about standard lenses vs high resolution lenses with the G10?

Thanks for your input.
