Hello people!

I just wanted to say that if you're looking for photo storage on the go, and/or an mp3 player, video player, or usb 2.0 hard drive to check out Archos. I'm not trying to advertise for them, but it's a pretty neat little gadget and can be found for $400 from a reputable reseller. Yes it has a cf card slot on it! BUT most importantly it seems pretty darn tough! (That's the real reason I'm writing this) I took a nasty spill on my skateboard today and slammed right onto it (and my elbow) and all that happened was a small dent in the casing, everything else works fine! I'm not suggesting that you all take up skateboarding and then assume it'll survive all the falls, but oh man is it a great piece of equipment (and small too!)

I happento agree with the quality of the Archos product, I have the AV400 and it's a great portable hard drive. I can download a full 512mb CF in less then 3 minutes (just put it in my shirt pocket and forget while shooting with other card)

Archos's software, usability, and durability is better than 99% of others. It is so nice to have alternatives to big boys of MS and Apple.

I loaded over 2000 RAW images on it from my trip and they downloaded perfectly.

I'm another Archos user, and I love it as well. It's a great device that does everything in one small package.
