I currently have EE set up on one domain, but would like to copy it over to another domain. Why? I have made a lot of custom appearance changes/preference changes to the script and couldn't imagine trying to mimic these changes again into a reinstalled default version of EE.
Is it possible to merely copy the folder containing all of EE's files and paste it to the other domain? Obviously, I would have to change all the parameters within the Editor to point to the new domain, but other than that? I would also need the new domain to point to a new empty MySQL databse as opposed to the old domain's database... How???
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you install EE on the new domain and then overwrite the database with your old one (from the back up and restore menu) then reset the paths to the new ones
Then just overwrite all the folders with the ones from the other domain.

You can copy the all EE files to new domain, then you need to create a new database in new domain, put its user info to add/connect.php and backup preferences and then restore the old EE database dump to new server. Then change paths, ftp info and graphics modules if needed.
You can create a new database with PHPmyAdmin if you have root privileges there. Then you have to create a user for that database, give user privileges to use and alter it and then you should reload mysql to get new user active.
Else you must ask server support to create one for you and get you the login info.
