Ive had my telescope since 1993 and finally got a T-ring and a variable projection adapter while I was in the camera store having my camera looked at. I was excited to try it and I didn't even plug it the drive motor. I think for the first try it came out pretty good.

Good shots, good depth showing from the craters and the surface. Look a tad blurry and the color's seem somewhat washed like an old photo would, better than my first try though :)

Yeah I didn't wait long enough, the wash out and gold tint was from the sun setting. the blur is probably more from motion, I didn't set the scope up because I had no idea what to expect, I tried again this weekend and I think they look just slightly better but I still have issues with the motor on the scope. I don't think the angle is set right it wont track quite right and I still get a little motion blur. I don't have any of the paper work on how to set the mounting plate angle so I will have to do some reading to figure out how to set it again, the scope has been sitting in my basement for the better part of a decade.
