get the " Copper Hill cleaning Kit" a Blower, and possibly the Rubber sensor tip cleaner thing ( the exact name skips me right now) but I use it to pick the big specs I can see off the glass.

You do have more dust on your sensor than just that one spot. Run Auto Levels at 100% magnification and you will see it all. Don't be too alarmed it will come clean after some good cleaning.

a blower may very well get rid of that, since it is so big.

If it was many small spots (which you do have, but its not bad enough to really worry about yet), I would suggest copperhill, I used that method many times with great success.

Like I said, try a blower first (I use a turkey baster). a spot that size should be visible to the naked eye.

Thanks guys. I tired the blower and it worked for the large speck as well as cleaned up a lot of the smaller ones. I'll leave it alone for now as the rest don't affect the images at all. Thanks again.

how do you take the picture to check for sensor dust? Settings?

Shoot toward a white wall, or else a clear blue sky. Set to any mode where you can get the aperture very small, such as f/22.
