I am not quite sure but for some reason this just isn't keeping my interest. Maybe cropping it some to get the attention on the actual subject would help. Alway eliminating the slight tilt could help too. The HDR isn't overdone that much in my opinion, but it does appear rather unrealistic.

Almost looks like a painting...

Nice textures... would be spectacular if it had a clear center of interest, like a kid skateboarding by in a blur or something.

Overall, I really like this photo, but I also agree that it would be even better with a central point of interest. Nice job!

Great looking HDR. Made an otherwise blah subject into a work of art.
Congratulations!

Doesn't do it for me. The asphalt has an unnatural hue. The trees off on the right have halos. It also looks like you or your software tried to blend spots that were out of register: the ceiling between the light fixtures above the pair of columns and the middle of the road on the left. There's some unexplained blurring there. Although the blue tiling is eye-catching, another composition might make it more compelling.

Nice colors but no subject of interest is what kills it for me

thanks guys. this photograph i made wasn't planned. while waiting for a bus under this bridge, and thought of trying to do another HDR (still new with this technique). I wasn't really after of a good shot with a subject on it. I was after the detail that my camera could capture at day time.. and also to play with photomatix. THANKS A LOT EVERYBODY for the comments and suggestions. cheers!

Good work on the HDR front from a shot most people would just walk by.

I like the effect. However the subject is not interesting at all. A couple overpasses and a highway....

I'm with Mr. Lay here. Quite striking. Well done.

Maybe some cropping will help the photo to give it more of a focus point. The right side carries some nice lines in the photo along with with the trees in the background giving it some depth. Maybe try that?

Hmmm, actually the composition is pretty nice - the lines lead the eye into the center nicely, there's just nothing there...maybe photoshop a duck in? :D

As for the HDR part, I like it overall but there's some details where the tonemapping is overblown (as joedlh said, the trees for one), but the blue and the overhead texture are appealing.
