Cake Smash Setup

My lil one turns one next week and Im desperate to take some smash cake photos before the event.

I've looked on every site possible and nearly all of them have a white/pink/blue background and what they're sitting on is the same colour. I'm guessing its seamless paper - but I havent got anything like that.

Any ideas as to what I could use instead????, I've got white blanket which I normally use as a background, but its not long enough to cover the floor area as well

I've seen some great baby pictures with a inexpensive colourful shower curtain as a background, such as from Ikea etc.
