Lots of talk on here about how good these batteries are, so I'm gonna get some. But would I be correct in saying that, I may be doing them no good by using my existing Energiser quick charger.
Sanyo's own slow charger is only £15 ish on amazon inclusive of 4 AA's. Would this be the best way to prolong their life??
Thanks
Pete

Maha and LaCrosse are the chargers of choice for most ppl.
you spend about $35-50 but your batteries will thank you with long lasting life

Bought the eneloops for the 580exii after reading many good things on the internet (along with the charger) and they're brilliant.
I have no technical knowledge what so ever, but if I were you, be safe rather than sorry and get the sanyo charger..

I actually take our rechargeable batteries from work for our mice/keyboards and run them through a discharge/regenerate charge on my LaCrosse charger. Makes all the difference in the world. Otherwise they last a week!

I would suggest getting the Sanyo charger as well, it never hurts to have a factory charger instead of a knockoff http://entertainment-place.info/smile/img/4628/o09a0208gstn/POTNsmile.gifhttp://entertainment-place.info/smile/img/4629/n08d1214eybr/1by1.gif

Out of curiousity where are you looking at buying the eneloops from? The cheapest place i have seen is from 7dayshop.com, I was also wondering if i needed to upgrade my charger, glad i stumbled across this thread

Sorry Scott, I didn't notice they're not supplied by Amazon themselves so there is a £3.99 delivery charge. But at £19.55 for the original manufacturers charger and 4 AA's, I still think that's pretty good value.
