Canon Flash Speedlite 430EZ

Hi, I was thinking of purchasing the above mentioned flash, but am not real sure if it will be ok to use with my G2, Can anyone help me out with an answer please.
What sort of trouble might I have with this flash? No trouble at all, What functions wont I be able to use?
Please spell the answers out as I am very much a newbie in the photography world, Even the terminology is a bit much.{By the way if anyone has a site with all the words and there meanings, it would be appreciated}

You want to get the 420EX, not the 430EZ. The EX models are the only ones able to fully support TTL functionality with the G2, as for as I know.

Thanks alot, The guy I was meant to buy it from said the same thing, so I new it was right, Just wanted to see what the story was with that.
