Trying out CS4 for processing my images. Still learning obviously, but I am quite happy with this result for first go. Suspect I've gone a little too dark on the right there, but there are some darker patches inside the image more so maybe not. I didn't take any flats, just darks.

Nice capture Troy. I do believe there to be quite a lot of faint nebulosity in that area with dark lanes between so what you have captured may well be correct e.g. http://www.astropix.com/HTML/D_SUM_S/NGC6334.HTM

Thanks guys and gals. I'm very happy with this shot. The data captured is pretty good I think, but my processing skills need improving to do it justice. I really hate those eggy stars in the corners, and am looking at flatteners.

Beautifully done Troy !! Glad to see you especially took interest in this nebulae . I've always wanted to but from my location it's too low and i have obstructionin my way . This neb is imaged very little but deserves alot of credit !! WTG and Great Work !
