I recently purchased a T1i and am enjoying it eeeememnsly (my first dSLR)!

I have a question about the attached photo. I took this with the kit 18-55 lens on an overcast day (ISO 800, 1/60 sec @ f/8). Can anyone tell me why the image comes out so saturated from the camera. I seem to get this on many of the flowers I take. I am shooting all JPEG as I am not yet able to upgrade my Mac so I can edit RAW.

I remember on my older Minolta DiMage 7i camera that the JPEGs seemed to come out more saturated than the RAW files (older RAW format), but since I can't edit Canon's CR2 files, I can't compare.

Any help would be most appreciated!

could you have one of the in camera edit settings on?? Live the 'Vivid' or something like that? Personally I dont see a problem with it in this image:)

I figured it our right after I posted.

I am shooting sRGB, but Photoshop is set to Adobe RGB.

I would have deleted my first post, but I can't find a way to delete the thread.

Thanks brennasg. Thanks for the positive comment!

That is how I figured it out. When I posted, I noticed that the image looked fine in the web browser, which got me thinking about the color space in PS.
