I could have resisted - but only for a minute or 2 longer. I like the colours in the sky better a few minutes AFTER sunset. There are more different shades of colours - warm oranges and darker cooler blues.

But a tripod/support is needed.

Yeah...the second one was taken about 20 minutes after sundown - hence the warmer colours. I did actually have my little travel tripod with me, but it was so windy down by the water that it was next to useless!!!
