I liked the reflections of the masts and pilings in the water.

I don't know, I like the weed, makes it more real. I love the reflections!

Very nice, love the soft colors, but I also think it would be better cropped to exclude the weeds in the foreground.

If you shot from a lower or higher vantage point maybe the reflections would not have gone into the weeds at the bottom of your pic?

Very, very nice. Leave the weeds. They provide a wonderful echo of the masts.

The body of water is Long Island Sound that seperates Connecticut & the north shore of Long Island New York. The picture was taken from the Connecticut shore, it's about 15 miles across at his point.

Here's a cropped version, some of the reflections from the masts and clouds are lost, shooting from a higher vantage point wasn't an option and shooting from a lower wasn't to attractive. I was on top of a bank and the bottom of it was pretty wet & muddy.
